“GOLDEN CITY,” a work that can be seen as the point of origin for Maria Mitsumori’s artistic practice, has now been produced for the first time as a fine art reproduction.

The original of “GOLDEN CITY” was exhibited and sold at Maria Mitsumori’s solo exhibition ”Destruction and Regeneration”, held at the Isetan Shinjuku Art Gallery in March 2026.

Respecting the texture and character of the original work on Japanese washi paper, this edition has been printed on handmade Echizen washi using 16-bit RGB giclée, reproducing over 281 trillion colors. The first edition print of this work — made to carry not just its image, but its atmosphere.

Supervision and printing were carried out by XART, an ILFORD-certified print lab.

三森麻理亜の原点ともいえる《GOLDEN CITY》が、初の複製画作品として制作されました。

2026年に伊勢丹新宿店アートギャラリーで開催された個展「破壊と循環」において、原画が展示・販売された作品です。

和紙に描かれたオリジナル作品の質感を踏まえ、手すき越前和紙に、16bit RGBプリティングによる281兆4750億色の色再現を掛け合わせ、作品が持つ空気感まで丁寧に引き出していただいた初のジークレー複製原画です。

監修および印刷は、ILFORD認定ラボであるXARTが担当しています。
